Is it true that a purebred registered Arabian cannot be buckskin?

I have nothing to add. I just wanted to say that this is the best questions I've seen on YA in ages. I had an Arab for 20 years, but I never knew that they never carried the creme gene and it was really cool to learn something new. Thanks, all.
