How to get involved environmentally in my town?

Start by going to City Hall and inquiring about environmental groups that are in the area. You'd be surprised how much information your city can provide you that will set you in the right direction. Also, you can check the library to find out if there are any volunteer groups in/or around your area. Finally, if you attend church that could be another great source of information for volunteering. If you can't find anything those three areas would be great for starting your own group. Good luck!!!
