If human activity lengthens the glacial interegnum, is that bad?

We are near the end of the third interglacial period in this ice age. During the current interglacial period, humankind has grown from a tiny, threatened population to become the dominant one. Is it wise to spend resources to hasten the return of hemispheric glaciers?
