Weatherstrip re-attachment on 95 VW 2 door Lupo - rubber cement or contact cement?

3M double-sided foam tape, the stuff with the red plastic on the tape. It pretty much the same tape VW used, it cheap, and if took 15 years for the OEM tape to loose it's grip, you can bet that it will be anther 10-15 years before you replace it again.
