Christians:were did your babylon go?

During times of saddam hussien,christian prophecy circles were lit with great exitement,that saddam by 'rebuilding' ancient city of babylon was going to fulfill bible prophecies.Now Saddam is gone,and all works he did to make babel a heritage site(note that he didn't intend to rebuilt the city as 'christians' claimed),is laid waste.So where does that you leave you,'christians'?
